From Centre Presbyterian Church

South Eastern Dollars for Scholars is hosting a benefit concert in  memory of Al Graybeal on Friday evening, May 30th.  Al was a long- time teacher and guidance counselor at Kennard-Dale H.S.  He was also  an active member of Centre Presbyterian as an Elder, choir member,  and volunteer director at Camp Donegal .  The concert will include  performances by the K-D Concert Choir and Concert Band, the Centre Presbyterian Church choir, and the combined choirs from many local  churches.  The concert will be held in the Kennard-Dale H.S.  Auditorium in Fawn Grove, PA at 7:00 pm, and a free-will offering  will be taken with all proceeds going toward a scholarship in Al's  name.  For more information, please contact Matt Barr at (717)  993-6556 or mattbarr@psualum.com.

From Leacock Presbyterian Church

" The 6th annual community hymn sing, "Singspiration", will be held at the Historic Old Leacock Presbyterian Church, Old Philadelphia Pike at Old Leacock Road, Intercourse, PA on the first Sunday of each month from May thru September. The dates are June 1, July 6, August 3 and September 7! The hymn sings will begin at 7 p.m.! John Koshuta and Tom Perella will lead the singing and the axccompaniment will be by Dianne Yunninger and Joy Koshuta, who will play the church's 103 year-old Estes pump organ. Lemonade will be served in the church courtyard each evening. Everyone is welcome

Angel Food Ministry; Provides a box of quality groceries worth about $70 at a cost of $30. Nationwide food program with no income or geographic limitations; "if you eat you qulaify" we will need volunteers especially ont he last Saturday of every month. 5:30 am food pick up( Manchester to KCPC) 7:30 am food set up KCPC, 8:30 am food distribution, geeters, registrars, - volunteers of all ages welcome, and of course you're welcome to order the food too! Heifer International Trip- June 15- 18 trip to Heifer Farm in Massachusetts- help out on the farm, learn more about Heifer experience the "global Village" where we will prepare a meal using the resources typical in India, or Africa, or Asia.  See pastor Marion for Registration materials.

YOUTH MISSION TRIP- July 13-18 Manassas  VA, join the York Youth Revolution as we combine efforts with 3 other churches in Hellam to take 19 people to VA with Group Work camps, We'll meet up with 8o others there and spend the week; helping in soup kitchen and food bank, helping at youth sports camp, VBS, children's theraputic summer camp, a nursing home, and more. WE NEED ONE MORE ADULT VOLUNTEER  the door is closing quickly on this opportunity.

VACATION!! CRUISE   to Bermuda AUGUST 8 through AUGUST 13 2009, must register with Bailey Travel by June 9th to participate in KCPC fundraiser.Bailey travel will pick us up in the KCPC parking lot deliver us to the port of Baltimore . We will have a spot on the ship for moring devotions and will have a Worship service together on Sunday August 9th on the ship. Price $1199- $1736 per person double occupancy. We would like to sell 100 spots on the ship for a great time together and an effective fundraiser. IF you're thinking about a cruise or know someone who likes to cruise, perhaps a single person who would have more fun in a friendly group, please forward this information.

Second Presbyterian Church in Oxford proudly presents an evening of theatre. Lorraine Hansberry’s A Raisin in the Sun (rescheduled date TBA) $30 Donation. From Westminster, WC Presbyterian Church - November 9 - 15

Here is an upcoming trip to Gulfport for Katrina relief work. Participants wil be from Westminster, WC as well as from First PC. West Chester, joined by others from the area and from Ohio.
