NEW eNEWS FORMAT IS LAUNCHED

We are pleased to announce a new format for Presbytery of Donegal eNews!  Thanks to Mr. Dave Schell our web designer, we have a new template to use in sending out electronic newsletters.  We will experiment with this new style and format, seek ways to improve it, and continue to move the mission of Christ forward in this region.

CHURCH VITALIZATION DIVISION SEEKS EMBEDDED DISCIPLES

The Church Vitalization Division of the Presbytery of Donegal works with churches that need redevelopment or transformation.  Some need extra resources to develop and implement a new vision for ministry.  These might be financial resources, but also could be human resources, meaning other followers of Christ, who could use their skills and abilities in service to the transforming congregation.

NOVEMBER PRESBYTERY MEETING AT OXFORD - NOV 16TH

The November Presbytery meeting will be held at Oxford Presbyterian Church on Tuesday, November 16th.  The theme will be Peacemaking!  We will have an alternative gift market available for your early Christmas shopping, a great variety of workshops starting at 1:00pm, an engaging Peacemaking presenter from General Assembly, W. Mark Koenig, and plenty of fellowship.

NEW MISSION BROCHURE FORMAT

Rev Steve Clark, Chair of Work and Witness Department, and Rev Charlie Gross, Interim Associate Exec, have been working on a new Mission Brochure concept.  Rather than publish a brochure in November that highlights our mission activities, they have decided to publish three separate bulletin inserts.  These will be distributed in January 2005 and can be used by churches in ways that fit their own style of mission interpretation.  A request for "How Many Do You Want?" will be going on soon so that they will know how many to print.  There will also be an option to receive "Masters" of the inserts so that you could print your own inserts.
