TOP STORIES             GROWING FAITH - GROWING CHURCHES

Our Presbytery Team was selected to go on the Steps Toward Peace - Israel trip in April!  There are 101 people going from 20 or so Presbyteries. Only Huntingdon has another team from the Synod of the Trinity. The trip is from April 25th to May 5th!  The team consists of: Marian Cabott, Jackie Caleb, Charlie Gross, Leah Johnson, and Nicole Richardson.  We are still waiting for our preparation assignments, itinerary and other details..... but we are very excited!

Podcasting. The Oxford University Press, publishers of the New Oxford American Dictionary, has selected podcast as the Word of the Year for 2005. Erin McKean, editor in chief of the New Oxford American Dictionary, said: "Podcast was considered for inclusion last year, but we found that not enough people were using it, or were even familiar with the concept. This year it's a completely different story. The word has finally caught up with the rest of the iPod phenomenon."  The question for you is this:  Who is now or who will be the first to have their sermons or worship services available as podcasts? [Charlie has an iPod and is looking for good worship and sermons to download]
