This year we are celebrating three milestones for Presbyterian women. They are, 50 years of women as Ministers of the Word and Sacrament, 75 years of women as Elders, and 100 years of women as Deacons. On March 9-11, 2006, at First Presbyterian Church of Atlanta, this celebration will be in high gear. Lancaster Theological Seminary Sponsors Conference on Mission: "Changing Christianity for a Changed Movement: Theological Transformations of a Faith in Movement," Thursday, February 9. Carlos Cardoza-Orlandi, Associate Professor of World Christianity at Columbia Theological Seminary, Decatur, Georgia, will speak at 11:00. Thomas Thangaraj, Associate Professor of World Christian at Candler Theological Seminary, will speak at 1:00 p.m. A panel discussion will be held from 2:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Lunch is available for $10.
